About Us

Greater Heights is an officially registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and a non-denominational private school designed to provide children a better education. The proprietors are Dan and Dianne Dzokotoe. Dan is a Ghanaian and Dianne is a Canadian.  The school is located in Tamale, Ghana and has diverse educational system that supplements the Ghanaian curriculum with quality educational methodologies and material from outside the country. From time to time there are international volunteers that come to help teach core subjects.

The school first opened in September 2011, and has been growing ever since.Currently, the school has a well-motivated staff which includes Headmaster for Nursery, Primary (Upper and lower), Junior High School, Supervisors and a Dean to oversee the schools’ activities. We have classes from Crèche to Junior High School 3 (JHS 3).

At Greater Heights, we see education as the cornerstone of development as it is a powerful and influential tool towards empowerment for sustainable social change. However, the impact of education depends on its quality and relevance. The main objective of Greater Heights International School is to provide quality education that is; education that brings about change and transformation instead of reproduction.
